#EarthDay was more like #EarthWeek for the San Diego Community Power team! We spent Saturday at La Mesa Earth Day, where attendees could get their hands dirty in the community garden, enjoy delicious food and live entertainment and connect with local businesses and organizations showcasing #sustainable products and resources. On Monday, we celebrated Earth Day at the County of San Diego Earth Day Fair where folks could learn how #SanDiegoCounty is working to protect and invest in our planet. Tuesday brought us to Illumina's Earth Day celebration, where we were able to share how San Diego Community Power is powering a cleaner and greener future for our local communities, and how businesses like Illumina contribute to a #cleanenergy future as Power100 Champions. Also on Tuesday, we attended the Sony Electronics Earth Day Fair, an event that raises awareness of local community organizations working to combat climate change and conserve our natural resources. And we visited Grossmont College in El Cajon for their Sustainability Fair, where students could learn from organizations in the #sustainability space. Finally, on Wednesday, we headed to UC San Diego for their Climate Education Day. The San Diego Community Power team was able to speak with the UC San Diego community about our efforts to shape a sustainable future for the San Diego region.

The annual California Community Choice Association Conference was em-POWER-ing! The San Diego Community Power team was able to connect with leaders from across the CCA and #cleanenergy industries and enjoy opportunities to learn from one another and share insight and perspective. Thank you, CalCCA, for bringing us all together this week.

Great to share the stage this morning with Shawn Marshall, Monica Padilla and Robert Shaw - thank you all and the California Community Choice Association for a fantastic conference and two great days of camaraderie and collaboration!

Tomorrow, the California Community Choice Association's annual conference will be in full swing! But first, earlier today, I joined Lori Mitchell, P.E. of San José Clean Energy for a pre-conference roundtable, hosted by Calpine Energy Solutions, LLC. We spoke about the future of CCA’s and our role in shaping a #CleanEnergyFuture.   It’s always a pleasure and a privilege to speak alongside fellow leaders in the CCA space, and I look forward to continuing to connect and learn from one another this week.

Yesterday, the San Diego Community Power team was in Julian for their Community Trade Show, where Julian residents could connect with the businesses and organizations that are serving their community. We shared how we’re working to bring cleaner and greener energy to Julian and the rest of the San Diego region, helping lead our local communities towards a #cleanenergy future.
