American Legion Post 434

I don't know where my review went . I found this in my drafts. I'm not sure why this is happening to me. I'll try to figure it out. I used to love this post. Something has changed that I'd rather not disclose. Suffice to say I'm looking for a new post. That's not as long a drive for me.

Awesome place, great drinks and food. And her is awesome, the bartenders are amazing. Everybody is just amazing walking you are welcome with so much. Love you feel like you've been a part of their family for a very long time.

So this is probably the last spot you could imagine me in.

I prefer if that way, and when I come here it is normally with a crowd of peeps double my age. My coworker is a retired cop, so he is my ticket in... He normally invites us out when there is a band playing. All the oldies but goodies come out and boogie on the dance floor, and after I have pounded a couple Crown&Diets, I'm up there too.

They also have a karaoke night, dinner nights, and other events. Just keep in mind that the crowd is 50+ so bring someone your age with you, and you'll have a good time. Best part about the Legion, you ask? The $2.50 well drinks!! All the time, every day. Tell me where else you can get wasted for 10 bucks???

Pretty nice and friendly! Cheap cocktails! Enjoying band and stories , funny crowd. You will enjoy it !!!

This is one of my favorite Posts. The members are very active in the Post and friendly towards visitors. The kitchen staff and bartenders are very welcoming, especially Robin. We enjoy going there to sit on their spacious patio. We always meet new people when we visit. This is a great place to go and enjoy good company and very reasonably priced drinks.

Whenever visiting my relatives in San Diego, I make it a point to patronize at least one eatery. I was very fortunate to have one of my relatives introduce me to "Post 434". The food is outstanding... scrambled eggs, fried onions, steak and potatoes. All food was cooked on a barbecue, and yes onions were by request along with being caramelized. Excellent place to meet people with diverse backgrounds in multiple job careers... good relaxing place to just hangout and socialize.
