I've been coming to La Bella's for 56 years. All my life. Every Friday night. I've moved away but my family is all still here and when I'm home we go every Friday.
Best of everything!!! Can't go wrong with one single item.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 23, 2024Updated review5 check-ins

The sauces are just the right. There was 4 for dinner. My family enjoyed there meat balls, & pesto pasta. Spaghetti & meat sauce with meat ball. It comes with salad & garlic bread yum. Food is great I rolled in in there with my scooter I was very respectful going in and the waiter was so rude .
I bounced sadly .
Here's some advice for the waiters ,servers
if you're a server or a greeter first impression is everything I definitely would eat their pizza but will never eat inside that place and to top it off the bathroom was dirty .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 47303374Mar 22, 2024Updated review
Today changed my mind about this restaurant. I went to school with one of the family members and she was not very friendly. The food I didn't like previously, and they hired nothing but park rats. Once in a while someone we knew who was cool would work here.
Today the pizza was good for the first time out of 6 times I have had it. Pepperoni pizza was not soggy this time or too thin or greasy. I'm glad I was able to participate in this event because it changed my mind of the establishment. Everyone was very friendly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Feb 7, 2022Previous reviewRavioli was undercooked so badly it was incredibly chewy almost hard. Had to microwave it to cook it more to make it softer/edible.
Marinara Sauce tasted burnt and old.
Only good thing was the garlic bread.
I hate leaving this review as this is a family owned company. But I do not remember anything I have liked from here. The pizza I recall is really greasy. - William D.Spring Valley, CA1111Jan 28, 2024

Great for parties as they have plenty of tables and space. They also have great party combos that are affordable. They also have a game room and pool tables if you are into eating and playing. A little too loud for me but everyone seems to like the ambiance.
The food is great specially the pizzas and we always come back for moreHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marie Z.Santee, CA03Mar 31, 2024
Excellent food, desserts and does special occasions quite well! We are local and even though they are more expensive than dominos or other takeout/delivery options, it's always worth it!!!
I'd give it another star but my bestie "trying" for fast in person takeout order failed miserably. Our many many experiences have been fantastic!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 7, 2023
The place has an odd layout with multiple dining rooms and a bar in the rear with its own back entrance (which was surprisingly full mid-week mid-afternoon). The older woman at the front who directed us to the room we were to sit in and handed off menus was no-nonsense, but our waitress/server couldn't have been nicer. The antipasto salad was okay, and the spaghetti with meat sauce was adequate at best, but the pizza was very good and definitely a reason to return. The crust was light and chewy, the sauce was flavorful and the toppings generous. The hot pastrami sandwich was also a hit. They appear to do a brisk takeout business, especially with their pizzas.

A Chula Vista institution on 3rd Ave. Super spacious with booth seating, a bar, and high tops. There's an arcade for kids in the back plus pool tables. It feels classic, with the original dining room first opening in 1961. It was quite crowded from the Aztecs basketball game, but service remained friendly and the food came out in a reasonable time.
We liked the Mexican pizza with refried beans, chicken, and chorizo. The Works pizza was solid. Huge and filling. The chocolate gelato was a yummy way to end our meal. I imagine it's a great place to go with family for nostalgia or if you have children in your party!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1
