I came to Elsa for a professional headshot. I didn't want the big smile, perfect hair, cliche look. So I hopped on Google and found a portrait of a model with a more serious but passionate look on her face and pose....And let me just tell you, I am no model! Elsa spent the time to coach me to achieve this difficult pose. She was engaged, and spent the time I needed to help me achieve this. I was soo happy with the results! She really nailed it! Best in the business right here!!

So simple, Here's the deal -

get your makeup done at the MAC store, right around the corner - they know about headshot makeup and will make you look amazing for not a lot of money.

Walk 1 block to Elsa's studio, with a few changes of clothes (park across the street - it's worth the $12, or bring quarters for the meters - there's parking).

Head up to Elsa's place, where she'll review your clothes with you and help you select the best photo-options. I did three changes.

Take the photos - about 100 or so snaps.

Sit and review the photos and choose your faves

Whittle down to your top 3-5 and she'll retouch your finalists.

She burns a disc for you and you're done - in less than 1.5 hours!

She told me that if I have friends take a look and there are others we want to save, she can retouch them and send/dropbox them to you.

I love the photos and had a great experience. The headshots are great and I'm so glad there wasn't a lot of extra stuff I had to do - just show up, look good, pick out the best and voila ~ finito!

I recently graduated from college, and I wanted to take a simple but formal picture of me with my cap, gown and diploma. After disastrous results at JC Penney's and Picture People, I was willing to find someone who specializes in these types of things and pay extra for quality. After all, this picture would be displayed on the wall of my parents' house FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!

It's surprisingly difficult to find a photographer who just does studio portrait sessions, as most Yelp photography listings are for event photography. To say that Elsa is a "diamond in the rough" is definitely an understatement.

I loved how Elsa took her time with me during my session. Not only did she take some graduation photos, but she also took a few professional head shots. She gave me some great tips on how to take a great picture, which I appreciated. Afterward, Elsa took the time to go through each photo with me and efficiently edit them right in front of me. I was told by a photographer I was previously considering that this whole process would take 6-8 hours (for a $300 price tag), and Elsa got it done in about 2!

I definitely recommend Elsa; she's a very funny, knowledgeable, and personable photographer to work with.

There are headshots, and then there are headshots. Elsa makes you look fantastic in photos! I usually hate the pictures I take, but the one Elsa did for me for the SBA website is fantastic!

Your photo on your business card and marketing materials is the first thing people will see....make sure it's an image that is really you!

And she's as fun as her 'jumping' picture suggests!
