Never used them before. They're always busy and they talk to me when I'm out there. Paddle boarding. They seem like they're very knowledgeable and super cool guys

Went here for the first time, Harry was so comforting and knowledgeable. I have extra fluff so I was nervous about fitting in the kayak and being level with my boyfriend as he's taller and leaner. He helped me in and guided the whole way and took us out around the bay. I was alot more nervous about the wind and tipping but again he calmed my nerves and by the end I felt like a pro! He took us to the wildlife reserve and let us see birds, fish, crabs, with his binoculars. It was such a great experience. Will definitely be going to him again. Very affordable, and you can go out on your own if you want. Thank you so much for a great day Harry!

We did a 2 hr kayak tour with Harry. He advertises on Groupon, but if you call him, he will give you the same price, so that toy don't have to go through a middle man.

He is very good and patient, communicating with me multiple times to find the best time slot that's good for the tide and weather.

I think he just enjoys doing this and showing people the bay. For 2 hour tour he only charges $30. Subtracting his gas for the truck, and wear and tear on the kayak, and he is spending at least 3 hours per tour, he is making less than minimum wage.

I highly recommended this tour. Do it while you can.

I'd been looking for a COVID-friendly outdoor adventure for my sister, brother-in-law, two nephews and I to do together, and the 2 hour kayak tour with Harry was perfect! Harry got us all suited up and reviewed kayaking basics before taking us out across Coronado Bay and into the marsh canals in the San Diego Wildlife Refuge. He was a wealth of knowledge about the area, and clearly has a tremendous love for the preserve. Highly recommend the tour and hope to come back to rent kayaks for unsupervised adventuring as well.

We bought a voucher off Groupon, it gives you the option of either 2 hours with a tour or 3 hours going solo. We decided to go solo although the tour guide gave us the option of doing the tour. Before going in the water he showed us how to use and balance the kayak. We ended up going from Chula vista to coronado and back within the 3 hours.

A group of 10 of us went out adventuring with Harry. We had a wonderful time! He was well prepared, timely, and accommodating to all. He has a wealth of knowledge to share about the history of the area and the wildlife. What a nice day out in the kayaks! Thanks, Harry!!!!

It was our first time on a kayak tour. Very easy to schedule. Best time to go is in the morning. Bring water and light clothing. We had a 50% discount from Living Coast Discovery Center. Harry was our guide and was easy to learn from. He took us on a 2 hour tour. We learned about History and how the Marina bay was created to what it is now. He told us about different birds that lives in the marina bay. He is very knowledgeable and has a great passion for nature and loves what he does. Recommend this company to anyone. Thank you again Harry. We had a blast! !

Been in San Diego now about two years and so far havent done very much but go to the beach on occasion. Finnaly decided we needed to go out and do more. So we contacted Harry to try out kayaking. Best decision ever. Harry was getting everything set up when we arrived. Awesome guy. Very knowledgable about the area and kayaking in general. Did a quick overview on what to do. And sent us on our way. Didnt take very long to get the hang of it all. The hour went by very fast. Loved it so much we set up another reservation for next week. Gonna get him out there with us to show us around. Cant wait! Give Harry a call you wont regret it.

We chose the "3 hr paddle on your own" option. Harry met us at the boat launch on time (very easy to get to) and got us set to go after he pointed out some interesting sights in the marsh area for wild life watching. We had a great day, very few motor boats that far south in the bay. Saw lots of birds too. Next time we will try the 2hr tour with Harry who knows plenty about birds and wildlife because he is a docent at the living coast discovery center. Highly recommend.

Chula Vista Kayak is Awesome!!! I went with a large group and Harry was extremely accommodating throughout the planning process. We departed late in the afternoon and the views of the South Bay were phenomenal and the waters were calm. Harry is an expert on the local plant and animal species so I learned a lot too. Everyone in our group had a fantastic time.
