Not bad I like to go there to try new products out for a lower price. D aw eeqae2q
No one offered to help as I was looking for items on ,my list. TPI aQ2
he Cashier was really nice friendly and hźzzelpful my receipt said her name is Danny not sure if that is correct. The one down side and this is true of most outlet stores is that you can't always count on them having everything on your shopping list from one week to the next.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dulce P.Chula Vista, CA12418599173Feb 10, 2023Updated review33 check-ins

Grocery Outlet is still one of my go-to places, while this location is not the biggest in San Diego County, the variety offered is good.
I miss getting my Starbees (aka Starbucks) coffee here and was super excited to see 32ct for $19.99 until I remember to check the expiration date. Was able to pickup Slim Jim's 2 for $1 which my SO loves. I love the variety of cheeses offered and for the price, it is the best for your charcuterie board!! Plus if you are unsure or don't quite know which cheeses to buy, then you can get a pre-packaged 3 cheese blocks for under $10, steal deal in my book!! One of my favorite is the wine cheese.
The downfall is they don't always stock the same items each visit, make sure to get items while you can! I love the random finds!Helpful 19Thanks 1Love this 14Oh no 0Jan 25, 2022Previous reviewStill one of my favorite grocery places to check out for new items. Most of the fruit deals are located in the front as soon as you walk in and grab a cart. Walking up and down the isle spotting those random deals. Sometimes the items sold here is not a steal deal but sometimes you find items a lot cheaper than say Wally World (aka Walmart) or even Costco (depending on the items) and if you have some time to spare, it is best to walk up and down the isles.
They have moved some items around and it seems what has stuck is the hygiene isle and the liqour/beer area. I've noticed clothing items being sold here, shoes, mats, bedding, and have bought some bento boxes that were perfect for munchkins lunches and decently priced when compared to other locations you could purchase those items at. They have a dedicated organic isle as well.
As far as brands go, sometimes they carry a variety and not always the same brands in stock. Fruits and vegetables are reasonably priced and decent in quality. They do carry organic fruit and veggies. Was able to pickup some Simply Almond Milk for $1.99 and prices everywhere else is over $4.00... just make sure to check expiration dates... for the most part you have weeks to months but careful with the deeply discounts and that means expiration date is near! I normally get my box of Starbucks kcups for super cheap here (especially when compared to Costco)... they are not always in stock or carried... so stock up if you see something the day of because it might not be there the next day.Jun 8, 2021Previous reviewI enjoy shopping at all their locations and mostly shop at this location. Have not been here in a while but thoroughly appreciated the steps take during COVID about social distancing and taking measures to ensure safety. It is a hit or miss on items here but it is definitely a shopping experience. A good way to try new items on a discounted rate.

Small store but all staff here are willing to go above and beyond to help me anytime I'm here!

Wow! Should have written this update sooner! I've been to this Grocery Outlet many times over the last few years, and have been impressed with the customer service and growing product selection. So many times, I've been here, found something we really enjoyed (then forgot to buy it all!!). We have especially enjoyed the varied season items (such as comforter sets, excellent holiday items, even food from around the world, and all at great prices. More than anything else, we are impressed with customer service which is most important to the success of any venture. On 12/13/23, Vanessa M. was at the checkout, and she was very professional, courteous and pleasant which made a stressful experience tolerable. By the way, the Uganda Bean Blossom coffee is EXCELLENT: deep smooth taste with no bitterness even when served black. Thank you so much.
P.S. We have recommended this particular store to many friends, coworkers & neighbors!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 2, 2018Previous reviewHaven't been to a Grocery Outlet in a while, but was very impressed with the Customer Service (Alma) which would keep me coming back even the products weren't that good. However, most of what I have purchased has been great especially since the prices were lower (and you should check no matter what store you are at). Thanks again for a great experience.

Usually, Grocery outlet is one of my favorite markets to shop at! I'm kind of bummed they don't have that amazing Davinci sugar-free syrup anymore but they have a lot of good items! Especially if you're an Elf gal like myself! In general, if you see something you like buy it because odds are it probably won't be there the next time you go! I've found that the displays tend to be misleading at times and the staff isn't that friendly either.

I have always enjoyed shopping at this location but the last 2 times we were told the restrooms were out of order. I understand with COVID going on but the employees bathroom is always open. Feeling for a mother who has a little one and a basket full of groceries. Myself I can hurry through my shopping trip. She had to leave her basket and go somewhere else for the facilities. I only began shopping I did the same thing, putting back my 2 things I had in my basket. This may be an issue because you lost 2 customers today.

Water! I needed water, which was the reason I came into this Grocery Outlet, after having dinner nearby.
I went directly to the water aisle and readily notice that they did not offer many choices in variety, so I went for the Crystal Geyeser one gallon bottle for .89 cents plus CRV and tax. The price was very good so I picked up to bottle. Right next to them were some gaming munchies, in the form of Milton's Craft Bakers, so I grabbed a bag of the Santa Maria BBQ and the Himalayan Salt for $1.99 each. I wanted to go home with some avocados, but unfortunately they did not have any Californian avocados in stock.
I browse a bit but found did not find anything I really needed. I did notice that the store needed a little tidying up and shelves needed to be stocked, but it was towards the evening. Service at the register was good. The young lady was friendly and had a good sense of humor.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 15Oh no 0 - Alex E.El Cajon, CA675Jul 26, 2021

Once you shop here you will never be back at Safeway, Vons, Lucky's or Walmart. Prices are outrageously low; a pound of tomatoes was $0.49, 2 litter coke was $1, peaches $0.99 per pound and 5 pounds of watermelon just $1. I usually pay three or four times more at Safeway, Trader Joe's or Whole Foods.
This place is as amazing as the Dollar Tree. My life hasn't been the same since I found these stores.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bernice R.Chula Vista, CA0314Jul 5, 2022
Great place to shop especially on a senior's budget. I can still get my "fancy" cheeses and deli meats but now at affordable prices. There's a wide variety of dairy products, spices, frozen meal/meal helpers and then there's the huge variety of wines and beverages. The staff and clerks are very friendly. Kudos to Nazly, who is very courteous and provides great customer service. Thanks so much for providing a great service to us seniors.
