Thrasher Termite & Pest Control of So Cal

Thrasher treated my hardware floors for termites back in May of 2023. A few days ago, I noticed a few new droppings in my office. Lisa booked an appointment for a re-treatment 2 days later with my same technician. Allie was on time, very professional, friendly, and went to work immediately.
While treating the spot that I had noticed, she found additional droppings. She then tracked the termites by moving some furniture and other things to determine the entire area that needed treatment. She was finished with everything in about 15 minutes, explained how the new nontoxic chemicals worked and said to give them a call if I saw any further signs.
All of the work was done under warranty and I even booked them to come do my free yearly inspection of the rest of my house. I highly recommend Thrasher Pest Control.

I hate to leave a bad review right before the new year. However I do feel I need to inform others about the negative side of the company since it has so many excellent reviews already.
This review is solely about the process of estimating not the workmanship.
Sent a request on Yelp about termite treatment and the company responded very quickly and sent Seth over the next day.
After the initial inspection, Seth said there is termite in the wall and thus the house needed to be tented. In addition, he offered a wood repair quote since the termite would come back a lot quicker without the work.
Without previous termite experience, I agreed with that. And then he started his two hour estimate process and left me a hefty price quote for the wood repair. I would not just leave a bad review based on a
High quote of extra service or pushy selling, that's their job anyway.
However, in the process of estimating, Seth used a long stick to knock around the house, and then poke multiple holes along the eve of the roof round the house and patio structure without my consent or permission at all. I understand the parts he poked holes are either damaged by the termite or rain(the patio structure), but it does not grant him the right to further damage my private property just to prove that there is a termite. Or he assumed I have use him for wood repair after his further damage.
or example, the car body shop can't and will not enlarge the dent more to show there is a dent, right?
No one will accept that action right?
Anyone, hopefully, reads this review and gives me an explanation on how estimating could result in damage of my property

Ran into a pest issue that needed immediate attention.
Got a chance to work with Mark and he was very professional and patient. He took the time to do a site survey and few immediate treatment that really helped us out. I would definitely recommend his expertise.

These guys tented the house next door. They vented the next day. And when I got home and drove into my driveway way they were blowing out right next to my driveway so I get out of my car door to a blower ten feet away. Now I have a sore throat.

Thrasher termite had great customer service from the get go. I inquired on estimates for termite fumigation as well as rodent control and their rates seemed reasonable. We decided to move forward with them for our fumigation needs, and they were able to get us an appointment with their third party provider on the day we wanted. The reason for 4 stars versus five is we were given a window by the third party that didn't ideally work for us. The consolation was they said they would call 30mins ahead to let us know they were on their way - didn't happen, and they arrived a few minutes late from when the window was supposed to end.

From a scheduling perspective this was unprofessional since they could have advised us they were running late, or have honored the 30 minute window that we were told we'd receive. Clearly this was not under Thrasher's control, but was a disappointment considering how smooth everything else was. I would recommend them just the same.

Christian is amazing!!! He is so thorough, always explains what he proposes doing and the cost before he treats the property, and is very responsive when there is an immediate need...like ants in the kitchen!
The front office is also responsive and very helpful.

We've been Thrasher customers for years and are always impressed with the service and friendliness of their representatives. We've had a few issues that have required folks to come out beyond the regular service appointments, and they are always so helpful and knowledgeable about any pest-related issue.

Mark V just came out for our regularly scheduled service, and is as friendly and knowledgeable as ever!
